Another thing that's wrong is that its comparing mostly indie games against a first-party AAA title, many of which cost the same on Switch as they do on Steam.

Following up on this sentiment I posted earlier, I want to highlight a certain thread:
In this thread, user Skykiii says he's tired of "Jack Thompson-like" arguments about media being "damaging." If you've been on Kiwi Farms long enough, you know what he's talking about--how damn near the entire userbase thinks you'll be permanently warped by viewing even a single frame of anime, or anything "furry" or anything.... well, anything at all.
It's amazing how fucking immediately people tried to bend over backwards to "prove" Skykiii wrong. For example, citing religious texts like the Quran. Or citing manifestos. How on God's green Earth do manifestos count as works of fiction? Last I checked, opinions and editorials aren't fiction.
A persistent one is people trying to make the topic be about propaganda, which Skykiii has repeatedly said isn't what he's talking about. One particular smoothbrain even tried to argue the point with him.
Like... dude? Skykiii is the OP of the thread. I think if anything, the OP knows what the thread is about, and you telling him that he doesn't know what his own thread is about is just you being a massive tard.
One guy also tried to accuse him of strawmanning, except that Sky did indeed link to someone who unironically said this shit. And I have to agree that Ultrapenguin sounds especially daft when he includes "nostalgic media" in his idea of things that will "make you troon out." That doesn't even make sense--nostalgic people tend to be opposed to change, and changing your body would be pretty damn major. Skykiii has asked him to explain this one several times and Ultra just never has.
