What? Animators couldn't even go to work because of the conditions people were in and how everyone was locked in their fucking houses, animators usually work at big studios or something, so a bunch that had to go to work most likely were having to find some other means of income. I think you hit the nail on the head of something that had been bothering me about the farms but I couldn’t pinpoint what, it claims to be edgy but only a certain type of edgy is allowed. It’s not a mosh pit of free speech, it’s a bunch of rightists huddled in the corner whispering slurs to eachother before they go back to their normie lifestyles. I think this is also highlighted with the farms largely losing its underground language and rather adapting gen Z slang like “gooner”, “cringe”, etc.

The average farmer nowadays would be entirely accepted by Twitter if they just dropped their slurs maybe. Thats not really a sign that you’ve built a “unique online culture”.
