The other night, I was scrolling 4chan cause I realized I’ve never actually been on the site. I’m in /mlp/ just looking, sorta bored, and then I see this guy post about how he branded himself with Pinkie Pie’s cutie mark.

I assume it’s a joke until he links a video and sure enough, he is indeed branding himself with Pinkie Pie’s cutie mark. I stare before I start giggling, giggling in a “Holy shit, the crazy bastard actually did it” type way. I start laughing, and I wonder why I never see stuff like this anymore?

I think back to all the recent KF threads, the point of KF is to laugh at weird internet stuff, yet it’s rarely laughing. Usually just angry rambling. And when it is laughing, it’s barely even weird stuff, like object shows and Steven Universe. I scroll KF, curious on where my thoughts are leading me, I find more a-logging, “degenerate” this, “degenerate” that. “These people need to be ostracized” this, “If only they’d keep it to their fucking selves” that. And I kinda think, holy shit, is this why I never see this stuff anymore?

Is true hilarious eccentric behavior so scarce on the internet now because KF has pushed it all out? Well, I don’t like that. I don’t like that at all. That brony branding video was one of the first times in a long time the internet was funny to me. I didn’t feel disgust and superiority watching it, I just thought it was so absurd and psychotic. I don’t want that brony to be scared to post about his “waifu”, because it’s “degen”, I don’t want him to “keep it to himself”, I want to see that. I want to snoop, and I want to snoop responsibly and laugh without calling for his doxxing.

I don’t think he’s degenerate, I think he’s funny. I want the internet to be funny, is that too much to ask?

Anyway, it’s 2 AM and I’m not quite sure what I’m talking about. I just miss shit like this where it’s just funny instead of there being some right leaning moralshit spin on it.
