I try to grow tomatoes and squash on occasion, but it ends up being so hot and dry the plants just end up never flowering enough. All plant but no produce.

I have better luck with blackberries and beets, however.

This is true! I have been feeding them just before we get rain+ giving them a little compost, but I think I should also plant them in the ground proper as opposed to repurposing empty licktubs as garden containers. It works for beets and potatoes, but not so much for the tomatoes, peppers, etc.

That would probably make a world of difference for them when it gets above 90f.

unyuns egg compost. calcium for plant! unyuns grow lot of plant! no onion garlic only! lot plant! unyuns help. unyuns struggle pepper always. unyuns think to cold to pepper always. :like:
