I wonder if @Crimson Fucker was like me, but tbh when I was a kid if I wasn't on DSI related websites or on basic social media platforms, then I was probably looking into shock sites.

I'm this old, I remember this site vividly and I think I was extremely young the first time I ran into it, lol.
I miss the wild west days of the internet, because even though it opened up a lot of cesspools, it felt more real and authentic compared to the current day internet where everything is sterilized and "safe".
Oops, wrong reaction. Yeah that site is a classic. I used it and ogrish back in the day. Also faces of death.

Yeah, I saw gore/shock sites as young as nine or ten years old. I think it's part of the result of who I am today, since I grew up to be desensitized to just about everything - I've never seen a problem with edgy content, because at the end of the day it doesn't hurt anybody - most it serves to do is to gross people out, but beyond that people dying is natural. I don't actively search out people killing themselves or that type of content because it's just morbid, but from time to time I'll get curious when it comes to famous gore videos or cartel related content - there's also cases that are just too interesting to look away, like the Justin Mohn case.

I've seen the full video he produced where he holds up the decapitated head of his father wrapped in plastic to the camera, and it almost doesn't look real, even though it was.
Same. I was real young, still elementary when I was looking at that stuff. I had limewire back in the day and would pirate movies and music which took all day to download the movies and it might not even be the movie.

What kinda viruses did you get?
All of the above.

But not just from there. ED would have those ones that would minimize your browser window and teleport it around so you can't close it and would pop up a bunch of other windows that would get closed if you tried to keyboard it. They would bait you with stuff like links to movies, gore videos, or celebrity nudes. Sometimes other articles that don't exist. I want that one recreated for modern computers if possible. Wound be funny if there is already a current one.

Browserfuckers? Yeah their still around just really rare as most "netizens" use social media apps and dont browse random websites.

I like to search random strings of words and see what I find. Like Corpse Milk for example.

Certain letters and symbols can give interesting results like ø on YouTube.

If you look up qurbani you can see Muslim ritual animal slaughter and sometimes people die.

YouTube kept recommending me gore and gooner stuff, it got so bad I had to turn recommendations off. I never clicked on any of them so they could've been clickbait.
I had a list of NSFW and nsfl search terms but that was on my old device in a doc. I still remember the waxing butthole meme and there are still naked yoga videos iirc. I haven't checked in a while but it's like whack a mole with content like that, so I can only assume it's the case. YouTube still has tons of NSFW and nsfl stuff even if they get rid of or hide old stuff with the algorithm. Peta's YouTube is full of animal gore. And there are lots of animals getting hit by trains. You can get full body cam footage of people dying too.

Reason: And even war footage.

On YouTube their was a time when people would upload porn videos and call them "hand expression".

This conversation reminded me about how during the early 2000's of the web there was somebody who would send me emails back and forth, - to this day I still don't know who it was - I've talked about this person often in the past, and he had two alt email accounts that went by "acrylic eyes", and "December underground".

These emails would usually send me shock related content, but would also talk to me from time to time.
I know it was probably just some edgy fag behind the accounts, but there were a few things I remember that are still weird to me about the person behind the account to this day, since this was all around 2010-2012.

I remember being sent a few gore related things,
a few shock sites, and shock videos,
and I remember one video I was sent of him supposedly shoving his baby sister down a flight of stairs, I recall the audio and visuals being really grainy and low quality, probably due to the lower quality camera's had back in the day compared to now.

I wish I didn't lose all this shit to time but all I have now is the email addresses since I was too young to consider keeping these conversations and pieces of media for myself, and never uploaded them anywhere.

Maybe all along it was just somebody who didn't like me since this was also around the same time I was being berated by the DSI related websites after it was exposed that I had been sexting with adults as a minor, and it was common place for people to make alt accounts on the social media platforms I used to approach me with hate filled messages / edgy content, which included my email and the "hangouts" app which I used often.

Sounds retarded, not the essays but using tinder.
Both things are pretty retarded to be fair. But yeah, their first mistake was using tinder to begin with.
