Violence against anyone is wrong and only deepens divisions. High-profile right-wingers will just put more glass in front of themselves while speaking to the public after Kirk, but that doesn’t address anything. He was not just a "guy with opinions" and no one knows why he was killed or by whom yet.

He was active in the political process, was incredibly close to the most powerful people in the world, and engaged in political violence when he tried to bail out the attempted Pelosi assassin while Pelosi was in the ICU. That's more than just a guy with opinions. He didn't deserve to die, but he was not just a guy who argued with college students.
