Why does this keep happening though? Is the forum under attack or something? I was lurking at and quietly browsing your forum with no problem for weeks before actually making an account. I don't remember this forum ever being down during that whole period that I was lurking. Are you able to talk about what's actually causing this?

We were getting DDoS'd by Iranians.
We had a DDOS attack out of Isfahan, Iran.
Was it the one star reviews of the Holy Quran I had reposted from Goodreads that pissed them off so much?

This was not really a high level attack. It was a bunch of IP addresses from one city in Central Iran. Why we were targeted? I have no idea. We also had a malware attack. I did not know about this until it was pointed out by Hostgator. When I get home after work, I promise I will see to it this never happens again.
