I gotchu homie. My mother on my wife's side makes really good Chinese food. TRADITIONAL Chinese food, not that MSG slop you find in buffets.

Msg is not only very commonly used in China, they have their own bootleg reverse engineered version and never use the Japanese brands too. And there are lots of dishes that have it naturally without extra being added since it's just extracted from food. Like mushrooms shrimp and tomato as well as soy sauces.
