I think what they're trying to point out is how troons (where a good chunk of them adopt far-left ideals) may object to a book like 'To Kill a Mocking Bird' simply because the word 'nigger' is present numerous times and for some weird reason many on the far-left get worked up over this even if said fictional works do this to show why racism is bad. Then the same retarded troons also want drag queen story hour for children.
Indoctrinating children into political extremism is already disgusting as it is.
Now as much as I hate to play filthy fence sitter, it's only fair that I also point out that the Right isn't different either; with some right-wing voices wanting to promote religious indoctrination and blind unquestioning nationalism for the American government towards children which isn't any different than some troon wanting to indoctrinate children into troonism.

I’ve seen this, I think it’s an autism and trauma thing. I’ve heard of children who will be abused as kids, and because of that, they literally cannot relate to humans. There was some study where some abused baby monkeys were given the choice between real mother monkeys or stuffed animal ones, and they all chose the stuffed animals. Combine that with autism and I could see someone only being attracted to their special interest (animals) drawn in a way that’s normal to be attracted to but also far far away from the, in their mind, evil humans. I’ve also seen this sometimes extend to not seeing themself as human either.
All in all good post that details the nuance between the vague term that is “furry”. This would’ve been sticker bombed on KF, but I give you a winner sticker, good sir.

I’ve found that 90% of furries have no interest in real animals, just the fake fantastical versions in their heads. I’ve met many furries who have no clue how to deal with animals and still believe “Dogs nice cats mean”. I’ve only met one furry who had an actual deep interest in animals, and even then the furry characters she drew were very different than her depictions of real animals.
I’m not saying this to be disparaging, just making an observation. Obviously there’s nothing wrong with not caring about animals. I’d say most furries just use animals as a vessel to get to their real goal of “The idea of having sex with/cuddling with someone strong and fuzzy sounds nice.”. There’s a reason why a lot of furries are into characters like Sully or SCP-1741, despite not being animals.
I think at least, idk, if we still have any furries left then please correct me.
