I've said before that Kiwis have a hair-trigger about "wokeness" but a part of me wonders if they even actually check first, or if they just assume everything is woke?
Likewise, they like to use the term "troonslop" or instantly assume all modern creators are troons, but do they actually check to make sure?
That question actually hits close to home for me, as a friend of mine is making an RPG that he's already aware is going to be called an Undertale wannabe, but despite said friend being white, straight, and going to church every Sunday (methodist IIRC), i have the suspicion Kiwis are gonna see his game and instantly assume "troon."
I actually brought up in one thread that I could see Kiwis accusing Tolkien of being a troon, and the answer I got was "no we wouldn't, he's a Christian." But see, that goes to the "Failing the Breakfast Question" thing I mentioned in the Kiwi Tropes topic--the idea was "yeah, but what if you had never heard of Tolkien?" thats just censors in general. because their entire benchmarks rely on their own standards . I remember my aunt (a 12 step christian) banning spongebob for awhile because she assumed it was homo propaganda until she actually watched it. mind you the same mentality that says "watching SpongeBob will turn your kid gay" that jesus freaks believed in back in 1999 is just as logically as calling everything woke. the entire concept of Critical theory is being able to look and see meanings and themes in works of art and when taken to a silly conclusion you can use evidence to mean anything.
Its a part of humans, think about how people treated twilight vs how the films were. in general people are a lot like the fish not being able to see the water they're swimming in. it takes a certain IQ or at least a self awareness about yourself thats hard for people to have naturally. And in general most people don't have a need or want to look outside of themselves.
kiwifarmers are like a typical conservate who go "X year is when everything was perfect and everything after that was trash" and that means sneering at 99% of things while also never trying to find good art in the modern day or supporting it.
a great example of this was when Stonetoss pointed out the "woke" themes in Half life 2, people were fucking pissed but he's right because there was a huge belief in DEI for side characters, which is how you got black scientists and comic reliefs and ethnic love interests and all sorts of other bit parts going to guys like kevin hart back in the 2000s.
but because kiwifarmers grew up with the media its not "woke" but "based" look at Sgt. beyond that honestly its not a 90%+ white world like it was in the 1900s. So its not too out of the question for an enlisted soldier to not be white like a kiwifarmer would assume everyone must be in the military, a lot of the "interesting" parts of the world are going to be less than all white and conservative, hell by their own beliefs they very rarely "accept the call" of adventure.

In my observations, it seems political extremists in general have their own version of the 'What is X?' mentally thanks to having their minds clouded by ideological purity.
For retarded progressives, they insist that transwomen are women but always ignore the obvious biological issues that show that troons are just LARPing as the opposite gender. Hence why you see so many people on the Right mocking the Left with 'What is a woman?' since many progressives are willing to throw away centuries of biology just to satisfy their egos.
The inverse is true for the Right too. For many Rightoids, many of them confuse non-traditional themes with 'Woke'. So when it comes to the Right at this point, 'What is Woke?' because it's clear a lot of Rightoids have trouble defining this too.

For me, Woke is like communist propaganda with the sole intention to promote progressive rhetoric on purpose. This is the keywords, 'On Purpose'. Obviously there is plenty of examples of works that fulfill the definition of Woke. High Guardian Spice was Cruncyroll's sad attempt to make their own anime and the only purpose of this "anime" was to promote progressive rhetoric. But here is the thing, not everything that has some progressive themes are Woke like High Guardian Spice was.
Progressives get rightfully mocked when they promote troon shit which is why many people often mock them with 'What is a Woman?' It's about time a similar question is asked towards those on the Right, 'What is Woke?' Because it's clear even some people on the Right have trouble defining what Woke is anyway.
