Anything relevant to Ralph and the wider community, generally. My understanding is we can use our best judgement so scooch whatever you find over there and I'll make a value judgement. Meaningless stub threads should be quarantined somewhere else (the trash) but topics with the potential for continued convo will be worth keeping

Its funny how Josh has welcomed the Soyteens to his site (probably to try and increase the amount of users he has) but the Soyteens absolutely hate Josh.
Can only end one way and that's in disaster. He's already turning away from TERFs slowly, and since the Soyteens don't like him I wonder what's next? The site dying is honestly a reasonable conclusion to come to.

I'm not sure what's so wrong with this. He is right that a lot of leftists seem to think it works in a top-down fashion ("Trump thinks X therefore his followers do") when in actuality these sentiments had been broiling and Trump was just the first person to capitalize on them.

its also an illustration of how bad the left is at thinking outside themselves, they think it works like that because that's how it works for them. Think about it like trends, they look to a trend setter vs the right's belief in the marketplace of ideas.

if you notice on the left they haven't had a real presidential primary since 1992, whereas the GOP have had countless big primaries and countless different viewpoints seen on the primary stage.

at best on the left you have two viewpoints but they're ultimately very similar such as biden vs Bernie in 2020, where its about degree of leftist policy whereas on the right you have entirely different opinions on international policy or domestic issues.

So I decided to do a little experiment

Could Kiwifarms be positive about something non overtly right wing for once?

I had a few rules, no checking the How Are You Doing thread since that’s made to be positive (and has don’t a good job staying positive) and of course, it couldn’t be right wing

Well, I failed, but this failure was important. It showed to me that Kiwifarmers truly are the most miserable people on Earth.

I came across this article in A&N, about a YouTuber named CoryxKenshin (For context, Cory is a black Christian gamer who’s well known in the YouTube community for being an incredibly great guy with no controversy. So much so that when he was accused of grooming (and promptly disproved it), people immediately didn’t even believe the accuser. He one time made a video detailing why he’s been slowing down on videos, and people went to his house just to make sure he was ok mentally. The dude is loved for very very good reason) who managed to make a manga (Read; comic with Japanese artstyle)

It reminds me, I had a black person I knew come to me in distress. Something about “Man, it’s just getting so bad that it’s hard for me to trust white people. How do I know who’s racist or not?”. I sympathized as I have struggled with this too, but Kiwifarms came to the rescue! I informed them of the many times Kiwifarms mods have been doxxed, and had their faces shown. And I told them “If they’re overweight, have a neckbeard, and look this close to deciding to end it all, then they’re probably racist and you should avoid them”.
I’m reminded of that cause I’m realizing that all of these people talking shit about Cory, a successful young healthy man, look like that. I’m not one to use the whole “You’re ugly so you’re wrong” thing but damn, how can you not when it comes to THIS?

Another thing i want to bring up is that this picture is over a decade old, this is him at like 19, which is the peak human attractiveness age. imagine how he looks now when he's 100lbs fatter and a decade more weathered
