We had a DDOS attack out of Isfahan, Iran.

you got any proof?

This was not really a high level attack. It was a bunch of IP addresses from one city in Central Iran. Why we were targeted? I have no idea. We also had a malware attack. I did not know about this until it was pointed out by Hostgator. When I get home after work, I promise I will see to it this never happens again.

ok never mind. Any chance we can start investigating whoever DDOS'd the site?

I and other staff members are currently working on a plan for putting Onionfarms on the fediverse. There is a problem with the .tech domain which would not accept any fediverse scripts. I have reached out to technical support to help resolve this.

Yss it was probably not necessary, but Null was raising a stink about it on Kiwifarms. We have a lot of lurkers from KF so I saw a window of opportunity to post this.

Onionfarms.tech is gradually being set up using humhub which is open source. There are already plugins available that enable you to share content on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.

There are also plugins available that will enable you to register via your Mastodon and Discord accounts.

What I am envisioning is being totally integrated with both social media channels such as Twitter as well as fediverse instances such as Pleroma and Mastodon.

Edit: And yes, we will have spaces where you can shitpost or if you choose, mainstream post. The choice will be totally yours.
