Kiwifarms is tearing Turkey Tom apart for audio recordings and messages dumped to the site by one of his exes. Despite posting in the thread multiple times and his own history of featuring absolute dogshit, Chingtastic Chong has decided it isn't worth featuring. No other mod, Josh included, seems to think featuring it is a good idea. However, this cowardice hasn't stopped THE PEOPLE from trying to pseudo-feature the content themselves via the Sponsored post feature.

In regards to the recent Turkey Tom allegations, the only thing I can say here is never throw stones when your house is made of glass.
I've known Turkey Tom back when Mr. Enter was more relevant (this was in the days when content creators like Smosh, nigahiga, McJuggerNuggets, The Angry Grandpa Show, and Tourettes Guy were at their peak to give you an idea of just how long I knew Turkey Tom as a content creator).
Turkey Tom would have his origins in the Cartoon Community where one of his first targets at the time was him dunking on Mr. Enter for being a spergy content creator that bitched about kdis cartoons. But how Turkey Tom presented himself at the time would be a repeating pattern for him (from his teenage years to what he will become as a grown ass man).
Probably what had Turkey Tom landed on my radar was that now infamous video he made about Mr. Enter a very long time ago where he talks about Mr. Enter being a terrible Youtuber but what didn't sat well with people at the time was Turkey Tom falsely accusing Mr. Enter of being a pedophile (Mr. Enter is a lot of things but a pedophile is not one of them). This video was so bad that even many of Mr. Enter's haters dunked on Turkey Tom for trying to spread misinformation about Mr. Enter so Turkey Tom took down that video and issued an apology (for the moment I cannot find the video where Turkey Tom accuses Mr. Enter of being a pedophile, that seems to be lost media now).
And you would see this pattern repeat itself time and time again where Bad Faith Turkey Tom would constantly point the finger at other people because he's a conceited jackass that thinks way too highly of himself.
He did this with Speechie where while Speechie was not a good person herself, Turkey Tom would present bad faith representation about Speechie where he claimed Speechie blocked him on Twitter but it wasn't over Turkey Tom criticizing her but Speechie blocked him because she didn't wanted to deal with Turkey Tom's childish insults towards her appearance at the time (she blocked Turkey Tom because he kept A-Logging Speechie, nothing more).
Then there was Pyrocynical. This would be Turkey Tom's most lowest moment ever where Turkey Tom would accuse Pyrocynical of being a pedophile and a degenerate furry gooner. Now Turkey Tom got one thing right, he was right about Pyrocynical being a furry gooner (something that Pyrocynical would admit himself). But Pyrocynical did an Uno Reverse Card where he showed receipts that objectively proved that he's not a pedophile and Turkey Tom was simply accusing him in bad faith. Now what did Turkey Tom do? Instead of providing his own receipts to support his allegations towards Pyro or at least issue an apology towards Pyro, Turkey Tom would double down on his bad faith allegations which caused the Internet to turn against him over his stupidity and arrogance. Turkey Tom would never man up and apologize to Pyro for trying to ruin his life and instead Turkey Tom left the Internet for a year like the miserable coward that he is (and the only reason why Turkey Tom survived this damage to his reputation was because at the time he still had a fanbase of dumbasses that still supported him).
Which brings me to now. In recent years Turkey Tom would become a Kiwituber where he talked about the Internet's past and some present lolcows (Chris-Chan, various furries, various weebs, DarkSydePhil, iDubbbz, etc) and he branded himself an as anti-degenerate. Turkey Tom over the past few years would constantly promote the now infamous 'Never Goon' meme on the big Internet platforms and he's even made money off merchandise based on this meme where he adopts this because he presents himself as a moralfag that thinks he has the highest authority on morality.
With the recent allegations, much like how the Groypers said to the late Charlie Kirk "How does having gay sex help us win the culture war?" and then not long after Nick Fuentes would go on a gay date with a femboy Catboy; it now begs the question, how does making your own homemade porn help us win the culture war? I want to hear Turkey Tom talk his way out of this one while he wears his 'Stop Gooning' hat. What's the plan here?
I'm old enough to remember televangelists telling you you're bad person for having sex before marriage and then they get caught sleeping with hookers, I'm old enough to remember pedophile religious leaders getting caught molesting the children in their houses of worship, and I'm old enough to remember the homophobic "Family Values" political figures getting caught sleeping with people of the same gender. If there is one thing I've learned on this rock we call Planet Earth is that the people that often try to moralfag a lot usually have some big skeletons in their closests and they're just projecting their insecurities on to other people because they don't want people to think any less of them.
I'm not even sure if Turkey Tom can even survive as a content creator this time around because this shit is so embarrassing that this could lead to his demise as the Internet learns more about this. I'm sure in the future we will see content creators make postmortem documentaries about Turkey Tom where they use his words against him and laugh at him; much like in the same way whenever the topic of Jimmy Swaggert gets brought up people laugh at him for preaching 'muh-Chrstian Family Values' for so long and then he gets caught sleeping with hookers where later on he gave his now infamous "I Have Sinned" speech on live television only for Jimmy Swaggert to still continue sleeping with hookers anyway.

This is just nostalgia tarding at best. I won't deny that some legacy video game IPs have lost their original identity (Call of Duty being a perfect example of this) but what this dude is bitching about is the same logic that a Pokemon Genwunner would say.
If you know anything about the Pokemon fandom, one faction of the Pokemon fanbase are the Genwunners where they think only the first generation of Pokemon games are masterpieces while disregarding the other games as trash. What makes the Genwunners laughable lolcows is that they disingenuously ignore the flaws that are present in the Gen 1 games (such as psychic type pokemon being unfairly overpowered where Gamefreak and Nintendo had to nerf psychic types in the later games to balance things out).
There is no denying that the original 1996 Resident Evil game was very revolutionary for its time. It told a story that no one has ever seen before, even though you have weapons you were still made to feel helpless which added more to the horror, and the limited resources and the puzzles made you think about your next move because one false move could be game over. Capcom's 1996 game put survival horror as a household name, can't argue with this.
But the 1996 Resident Evil game is not without its flaws. The original game has laughable cheesy voice acting (to the point where it's a meme where lines like "Jill Sandwich" have become a meme on the Internet), the tank controls are seriously outdated (the Director's Cut version which supports DualShock PS1 controlers made the tank controls somewhat more tolerable but the controls are still ass), and the graphics (like most 3D video game graphics from the late-1990's) has not aged well.
Most importantly, part of the reason why many game developers abandoned tank controls is due to the restrictions around them. I can argue that you can still have fast action gameplay and still have the game be scary (Resident Evil 7 is fucking scary where some of the really tense moments put me at ease despite me knowing fully well its a video game).
So why did Capcom left behind tank controls? Same reasons why Nintendo and Sega began to invest heavily in 3D Mario and 3D Sonic because it's to keep things fresh for the you, the gamer.
Obviously not every Resident Evil game after RE4 is a masterpiece (Resident Evil 6 leaves a lot to be desired and don't get started on Resident Evil: Operation Racoon City). But watching this Kiwi bitch about how Resident Evil left behind tank controls isn't any different to how Chris-Chan complained about Sonic's arms being blue in Sonic Boom.
