KF is extremely disingenuous anything anime related even if its the most mature thing ever is instantly labeled as being pedophilic.

Almost everybody on KF repeats the same talking point, really gives credit to the idea that half of if not the majority of the site is just alt accounts/ socks.

You're going to be very hard pressed to find oldfag edgelord communities from the old days of the Internet to accept anime as a legitimate form of entertainment for the same reasons why you're going to be hard pressed to find boomers that accept cartoons as more than just kids stuff.

Why do the vast majority of boomers see cartoons as kids stuff? Their point of reference are the Hanna Barbera cartoons from the 1960's and the 1970's along with 1980's cartoons that were essentially 20 minute commercials for children's toys. The boomers never grew up in the peak of the Golden Age of American animation (the 1920's to the 1950's) where things like tobacco and alcohol use, racism, sexual innuendos, and other adult themes that used to be way more common in American animation. If you were to show a boomer old Disney cartoons (like Goofy being a heavy smoker) or the really edgy old Loony Tunes shorts (like any shorts featuring Bugs Bunny crossdressing while kissing men and or any of the Censored 11) then you're going to see boomers being shocked as shit when they realize that cartoons from before they were born were never made for kids to begin with (which makes the whole animation is for kids argument as being complete bullshit).

What's the point of reference for anime for the Kiwis? Dragon Ball Z and Lucky Star where back when Kiwi Farms was at their peak of popularity, Dragon Ball Z and Lucky Star were the only anime most normies knew and to be fair, the anime community had the reputation of being weird. But now that anime is popular, it's really hard for the Kiwis to accept the objective fact that anime is here to stay and this isn't the year 2010 anymore where you could be bullied for liking anime because a lot of people like anime now.

The world is moving on while the Kiwis are stuck in the past and they cannot accept that this isn't the year 2010 anymore. Much like in Bowling for Soup's song '1985' which is about an old boomer that cannot accept the fact that she's hit the wall and the good times from her day won't return, the Kiwis are still stuck in 2010 and they cannot accept the fact that they are no longer the cool kids of the Internet anymore. The world is enjoying anime while Kiwi Farms is still preoccupied with the year 2010.

What's it worth to say that the same edgelords that were mocking and humiliating people for liking anime during that time, are probably now the same morons who started watching anime themselves.

It should also be worth noting that the oldfag edgelords that used to make fun of people for watching anime get offended when you call them a "Tourist". If you pay attention to recent trends, the word 'Tourist' has become a big word in the anime community for a reason.

The word "Tourist" is honestly the best way to describe these people because much like the feminists that tried to subvert the video game industry during the Gamergate years, these posers come into the anime community and act like they own the place while also demanding that the anime community should change for them.

Whenever I see people complain about being called a 'Tourist', most of the time they're being an obnoxious faggot because they cannot read the room and they refuse to assimilate to the customs of the anime community (the 'Lurk Moar' meme); so often the anime community making fun of the tourists is usually justified.

So why does the anime community make fun of anime tourists? It's for the same reasons the gaming community makes fun of the feminists trying to subvert the video game industry. Nobody likes posers and nobody likes subverters acting like they own the place while trying to ruin a community for everyone else.

Even if Jack wants to say how justified it is and how oppressed these people are, it just makes me think like. So what now? Cause the justification for using Kiwifarms before was “They’re not actually racist it’s a joke” but now they are. I’ve been searching and it seems the justification now is “Well ya but racism is good!”

Then there’s the transgenderism, before it was “We do not support suicide, if someone who’s trans kills themself, it’s not our fault. They have our thoughts and prayers.” Now it’s gravedancing every time a trans person kills themself.
Again, what’s the justification now? Other than “No, it’s good.”. That just don’t fly with everyone. Like, what do they say to someone when they say “Uh, no, it actually isn’t”?

Ignoring how rules against a-logging and moralizing are now obsolete as literally everyone does it now, what about rules regarding “Watch the zoo, don’t fuck with the animals”. Now they’ve switched up again and it’s “Ok, we need to hold people accountable for gravedancing over Kirk. We’re calling up their workplace to hold them ACCOUNTABLE, we TOTALLY will not throw a bitch fit unless they fire them!”
