Why is Kiwi Farms so toxic? Same problem you see with Reddit. There's a lot of moralfaging and purity tests on Kiwi Farms that should you fail to comply with Kiwi Farms' unrealistic ideological standards then you will get kicked out from the in-group.

You see the same thing with cults. The cult leader structures their cult to be cut throat on purpose in order to keep the most devoted members while those who doubt the cult leader's teachings are either punished or kicked out of the cult altogether.
