Another dream but this wasn't sexually charged but very emotional.
So I was a writer for a universe of characters. It was time before I was born, like way before that. Hell it seemed like I was in the late 1800s. I wore suspenders, a flat cap, one of those fancy white shirts and wore circle framed glasses. But I also weirdly had a sense that it was present time like this was one of those reincarnation tropes.
I was at my desk with drawings of characters that I had to work on and scriptures for the cartoons. Doesn't make sense because this wasn't a concept yet for this time period. I wasn't busy, I was bored, had nothing to do and I lived in cabin in the woods. The first thing that came to mind were female characters though, so then I picked up a vintage pencil and started to sketch, before I knew it I drew two girls. Both of cartoon styles. One with short blonde hair and the other long black. They both had clothes that weren't concepts of this time period either. When I finished which seemed 3 seconds because dreams are like that, I got a knock on my door. It was one of the females I drew and she was in human form, reality form, not cartoonish. She was in midriff and she had rosey cheeks. I was dumbfounded for what I just witnessed and she grabbed my hand to lead me to the other one crying on the ground under the trees of this cabin I resided in.
The woods were darker, the grass were soft on my loafers and it was a late summer atmosphere. Hardly any sun was touching the floor of this forest that hugged the cabin. Once we reached the one with long black hair crying on the grass, the blonde told me to sit next to her as the blonde sat next to me. It was to my understanding I felt a very emotional connection with these girls that I just created from pencil and paper. It was just 2 ideas from thin air now connecting to my very soul. I asked the long haired why she was crying and her response was along the lines of warming to me as she placed her hand on my heart. It was something like "I can't believe it, I think you're here". She looked me deeply with her brown eyes as I felt the hands of the blonde hug me from behind. Nothing of this was arousing but very deep. I felt sadness within this joy for my intuition within this dream reminded me of the reality that awaits me when I wake up. And this dream was not lucid but automated. But feelings never before came about my mind and I was frozen in time.
As I woke I sat on the side my bed contemplating what I just seen. I had this strange complex that I was the father of what I drew, that I was godly for what I constructed. And I validated my imaginations even more. This feelings would soon leave me as I started to walk to go take a piss but while the feeling was still there, I felt like I could draw females and they appear. It was delusional to anyone else but it was so dear to me for that minute. That I'm doing nothing wrong but in order for something to take place like what happened in that dream. I have to be closer to my heart so when the time comes, I will have it happen on a day so sunny and bright, I'm not longer cold but warm but the touch of these females.

As much as I respect Hayao Miyazaki as a writer, director, and animator. His last work of "The Boy and The Heron" is nothing short of negative outlook on escapism, creation, art and a sense of nihilism toward ones destiny. Though the animation/movie is amazing. His opinion and philosophy of the dead end of life was expressed beautifully in his work. Nothing fundamentally was wrong with the film. Everything was executed with prestige as he always has done.
But the ending was not the belief I would align myself with in the art of anything. Great-Uncle was the character in the film that constructed his own world that would dissolve toward the end of the film. He was the master mind behind his fantasy world that had metaphors, scenery conceived from his mind. Mahito Maki the protagonists would stumble upon this in the tiny village he would move to after his mother died due to war related incidents since this was based in WW2 during the Japanese Empire. As you watch the film, you see the very mechanics and this wide range world Great-Uncle created but as this movie argues that things eventually fall, die, and the final chapter of life always comes to a close. Also a more emphasis of escapism through art.
The problem with this is that there is a paradox in the making/ending of this film. When a door closes in life another one will open. When you finish a book that you wrote, you move on to another if you desire. Throughout mankind, master of their craft have always continued their work regardless of their age. People even work to death, they work some job until they hit the grave. So in theory to this film, if the world that Great-Uncle created were to be destroyed, he could make another one as if a bridge were to fall into the river, then you construct one that's even better. But there is another reason which seems not of a paradox, but a sad reality in the eyes of veterans to the craft such Hayao Miyazaki.
He doesn't agree with the modern ways of what we call anime since he doesn't consider his work even such. But with this film he accepts this reality and another metaphor of the world collapsing that Great-Uncle made was this old world that lasted forever until now in the time of this universe of the boy and the heron so even if in theory that Great-Uncle would exist on after the worlds destruction, he could make another one but more adapting to the environment of change. But he doesn't argue this and it's understandable since he's just at the age of wanting to let go of the baggage and slowly progress away from his old ways of thinking into a more accepting nature of modern Japanese work.
But regardless of his beliefs and philosophy, Ghibi Studio animations will always hold a hint of influence in my heart when it pertains to anything Japanese Film/Animation related. And also with anything media related. His ways, ideas and magical worlds will always live on as Spirited Away has and other amazing films. It was just with The Boy and The Heron, I only wished he had a different approach that was less grim and more vibrant to the idea of change. For example, instead of the world never existing again that Great-Uncle created, the boy or someone else could have made something more healthier and clean as to it wouldn't be escapism, but inspiration from the previous world. This would have been the best ending as again, when a door closes, another one opens. Not everything has to come to an end as even if a book ends and nothing else is canon, future books can still be inspired from that one and a new story is born.
