Dead by Daylight is pretty cool.

I used to play Texas Chainsaw Massacre because I love the franchise, but the game is DOGSHIT. They have a who's who a voice actors/models (Edwin Neal, Barbara Crampton, Kane Hodder, basically every horror movie person I've ever brought my kids to meet at conventions lol) and it's cool supporting them but there's not much you can do with the game that's full of bugs, that gets buffed/nerfed every week and only has like 5 levels.

I despise DayZ.

It's EXTREMELY hard to learn and even harder to play. The community servers that have more loot are an easy way to learn the game. It's a bitch tho. A realistic apocalypse is hard as fuck lol.

It's not that, it's just the controls and the overall design of loot drops. I like Project Zomboid and that game is absolutely autistic with its details.

Remember their last game? Friday The 13th? Just about every game they make is an 80s slasher with the computer equivalent of Gonorrhea.

I'd kill for a The Thing multi-player game. That would be perfect, a license to print money.

Every asymmetrical horror game basically tries to be dead by daylight but can't pull it off. So they procure the licence to a famous movie franchise and make a very bad game around that. They make a little bit of money off of the good will of the fans of that franchise, then the game dies. It happened with Friday the 13th, it's happening with Texas chainsaw, and it's happening with killer klowns from outer space.

It's a shame that your not wrong.

I'm heart reacting this but I do so under protest because this is exactly the type of moment where a sad reaction sticker would have been necessary.

@Onion Null
They games could be good if the devs actually sat there and improved the game. Gave it support instead of moving on to the next project.

Dead By Daylight is constantly being supported by the devs, they update it, they do collaborations with other horror IPs to spice the game up, and etc.

Meanwhile the Ilfonic/ Gun Media games are fucked over and milked until the games die and the devs move on.

The key to any good multi-player/ online is support.

DBD constantly has updates and new game modes (they're currently doing 2v8) and new skins (they're HEAVY on Resident Evil right now, before that it was characters from Stranger Things)

I think the reason that dead by daylight is so successful is because they have so many different franchises in the game and because at least three or four times a year they have special game modes that people can play to keep the game from getting stale.

True.

I'd play Dead By Daylight if they had Parasite Eve stuff.
