What drew my attention to this channel was how in the thumbnails they tried making her look conventionally attractive

It looks like a female Simon Whistler
She would definitely know a lot about butterface after staring at it her whole life. Shes not even that ungainly but the insecurity is on full view from the pictures.

That's Mika Pikaso. Shes super famous in Japan as an illustrator and a character designer.

No problem. You should also check out LAM. They're another illustrator who has done much of the same kind of stuff Mika did. Her style is pretty different though.
