It'd be a shame for "Zoe" if police email accounts are stolen so that people can make bogus subpoenas to find out his real secrets, such as Twitter private DMs, gaming history, Youtube watch history, Wikipedia watchlisted pages, and email messages. By this point the best way for "Zoe" to truly spare his family (particularly his nephew) the shame of being associated with Crocus attack is to unal*ve himself.
