The Gays From LA Took My K.Flay Away
Hellovan Onion
I don't know if Dylan Burns ever goes back and watches or reacts to his old videos from the beginning of the War in Ukraine, but recently I've been reading some old tweets I had saved at the time about the war. People expected all kinds of things to happen because of this conflict, some of which predictions did turn out to be right, whereas others were proven wrong.

Here are some of the old tweets I found in my archive.

Feb 28, 2022:

Geo-politics is just rich guys wanting more money. 99% of the time there are no “good sides” to be taken- the hysteria just isn’t worth it.

Feb 25, 2022:

Nations don't get suicidal in difficult times but step back, ponder and make a policy for survival. It is callous to expose Ukrainians to a huge military machine with full knowledge of consequences. It is better to negotiate a peaceful arrangement and save innocent people.

Feb 27, 2022:

The west has never given a toss about Ukraine except to use it as a battling ram against Russia. This new found consciousness is sooooo fake and ghey!

hiding an obvious war boner behind humanitarian concern and platitudes about protecting democracy abroad. We’ve been here before… not even that long ago…

Feb 27, 2022 (also, LMAO)

What we've seen so far suggest that both Putin and the West expect very fast results. The EU can afford major trade disruptions and Russian countermeasures in the short term, but it's unclear whether there is a credible contingency plan.

Feb 27, 2022

The problem with these assurances is that again, it's unclear whether Putin is aware of the actual costs. As Inozemtsev suggests here, the economy may be able to withstand *expected* sanctions *in the short term*. But what happens when they go beyond this?

Putin may expect that oligarchs can be forced to fill this investment gap when they inevitably have to repatriate their assets, but this is highly dubious. This would likely take an uncomfortable amount of time, or an amount of coercion that would surely create backlash.

Feb 28, 2022

Time for the EU to play a stabilising role by calming the rhetoric and stop egging Ukraine in a war it cannot win.

You won’t defeat Russia, this is a superpower with nuclear weapons.
All you needed to do was STOP NATO expansion.

The best we can hope for is a divided country.

Feb 28, 2022

Somebody surely thinking to overthrow Putin by making Ukraine a gigantic bloodbath. Some even would say that’s genius strategy. Many even climaxing to some hollywoodish idea of freedom being defended this way. The big picture is Breugel’ Triumph of Death.

Feb 28, 2022:

The Ukrainians might not overthrow Putin, but the Russian elite might. Bond marketing crumbling, rouble falling, major project partners abandoning, assets frozen. We can hope!

Feb 28, 2022

Good thread and good you made this available but it is fairly typical of the ideology advanced by Kremlin ideologists and disseminators of Carl Schmitt's ideas since 2014 and to some extent before. All of it goes back to Danilevky's Europe and Russia (1869)

Feb 28, 2022

The only problem here is the fact that #Ukraine, who heard the west is not going to fight with boots on the ground, is asking Ukrainians to die for the #US objectives so that Biden can domestically capitalise on this war on #Russia.

Jun 10, 2022:

"Even if the west eventually sends the hundreds of rocket systems that Ukraine has asked for, Zelenskyy privately envisions a war that could drag on for years, depleting Ukraine’s population as the economy collapses and people move to Europe."

Jun 10, 2022

“Ukraine has suffered, as well as the tragedy from lives lost, enormous financial damage, and it needs to be returned by the country that inflicted this damage. There is a source equal to that damage — it is assets of the [Russian] state.”

[Account gone, date unknown]

It's complete madness to think sanctions and arming the Ukraine with weapons will bring the War to a close or break Putin. Waving a red rag to a bull only enrages it. The situation needs to be diffused by making the Ukraine a neutral state.

[tweets locked, date unknown]

Leftist: "Let's demand the impossible!!!??"

Leftist when it comes to Russia: "Yyyy, let's be realistic, we can't do anything more??."

[account suspended, date of tweets unknown]

What if the extreme sanctions collapse the Russian State, then what?
Russia has many ethnic groups held together by the Russian federation.
If it collapses it’ll be like Libya, but with nukes and biochemical weapons!

And last but not least, here is journalist "narrative architect" & lecturer Molly McKew at the time posting a molotov cocktail tutorial, in direct violation of Twitter's ToS:

"The Twitter guerrilla warfare school is next level"

Interesting that a mainstream journalist "narrative architect" is tweeting out such tutorials for essentially making an improvised explosive, cos if that shit was posted on KF, everyone would say that that they're "enabling terrorism".

Almost these tweets I also found this Youtube video by a Catholic Youtuber called The Distributist. I saved it because I liked what he said during this part:

It would be funny if it wasn't so sad, but it seems that every progressive and every socialist on Twitter today, has become just the type of mindless jingoistic war-mongerer they always lampooned and put down in their own media.
