Colombian actress Natalia Reyes, best known for her roles in Terminator: Dark Fate and Shadow Force, recently opened up about her hidden talents and the one profession she says she'd absolutely excel at—being a spy.
In a candid moment, Reyes confessed she’s her own toughest critic when it comes to watching herself on screen.
“One of the things we actresses have is that when we see ourselves [acting], we say, ‘No, why did I do that?’” she shared, laughing.
Despite her self-criticism, Reyes has proven her dedication to her craft. While filming high-action scenes, she’s been offered stunt doubles—but she often insists on doing the work herself. That commitment has made her proud, especially in roles where physicality is key.
Now starring in Shadow Force alongside Kerry Washington and Omar Sy, the 38-year-old plays a special forces agent—a role that seems fitting, given what she says about herself:
“I think I’m a good spy.”
Reyes credits both life and acting for honing her intuition and observational skills—tools she claims make her surprisingly skilled at picking up information without being noticed.
And while she thrives in the fast-paced world of entertainment and technology, she also revealed she wouldn’t mind going completely off the grid for a while. “I’d be willing to leave my electronic devices at home and go backpacking for a week,” she said.
Above all, Natalia Reyes says one of her proudest accomplishments isn’t just her Hollywood success—but the fact that she’s brought Colombian talent into the international spotlight.
With instincts like a spy, the stamina of a stuntwoman, and the soul of an artist, Natalia Reyes is proving there’s little she can’t do.
