It feels sad reading that, since whoever wrote that clearly has enthusiasm and his heart in the right place, but Kiwi culture has also always been about hiding your powerlevel. Which today is taken to the extreme where you cannot admit to being a fan of anything because anything you enjoy is troonslop, pedoshit etc and that makes you a tranny lover, a pedo etc. Maybe a few years ago, Kiwi Farms could have had fun shit like that (like some of the featured games and even the let's plays people did really were cool), but today Kiwi Farms absolutely can never have that because it is a nonstop purity spiral.

Steven Hassan's BITE model lists four categories that show on whether or not an organization is a cult.

One of these categories is Behavior Control and you see this with Kiwi Farms a lot these days; you cannot enjoy video games, anime, comics, movies, books, and so one without them being labeled as "troonslop". Sure you do find Kiwis that do enjoy these things but even they have to walk on a tightrope in regards of what content they can enjoy so that other Kiwis don't turn on them.

You also see Information Control of the BITE model in action where in this category you see members of a cult being encouraged to snitch on other members if they don't follow the program (i.e. when a Kiwi sees you watching a TV show that may feature an LGBT character and then tells the rest about how you committed the sin of... Netflix and Chill).

Now there are some things that makes Kiwi Farms not a true cult; for instance Jersh doesn't intentionally exploit his members financially out of their valuable assets (like demanding the deeds to the houses owned by any Kiwis or making his Kiwis surrender the money in their savings accounts to Jersh). The monetization system that Jersh uses to make money off his Kiwis is completely voluntarily.

So while Kiwi Farms is not a true cult in the traditional sense, you do see some cult-like behavior with most of the Kiwis at this point.

The Turkey Tom thread is an open-air asylum. There's more to a tinge of hysteria to it. Like the occupants realize the days of "listen&believe" MeToo cancellations are past but want to feel a flicker of the power they once had. It's something you'd see in the comment sections of a Gawker article during the Jian Ghomeshi affair.

TT's hypocrisy is repulsive and unsurprising, but the rest hinges on word-of-mouth. The two women had ample time to coordinate their stories for Null's interview and knew what the Kiwis wanted to hear. But naysayers get shrieked out of the thread by the BP denmothers or get banished to the containment thread Null created for the Listen&Disbelievers.

The thread operates on a logic that "the harder we believe in it together the more truer it is."

It's emblematic of the entire site and how out-of-touch it is. They sound deranged and miserable, either bitter 3rd wave feminists upset their revolution didn't materialize or out-of-touch Christians moralfagging. The bizarre tangents into "this is why we should ban all porn" isn't going to make banning porn popular, it's going to make KF (even more) unpopular.

i honestly hate the website and rarely go on it much. the userbase is out of touch and Null deletes anyone that isn't a retard.

268 pages. Last I checked it was only 68. JUST IN A SPAN OF FEW DAYS 200 PAGES UP. CHRIST.

the Tom thread reminds me of the Dick Masterson one, it was mostly people liking or at least not hating him and then "the big event" happens and suddenly everyone turns. the Tom thread only had 64 pages and a lot of them are literally archives without discussion.

I genuinely hope this all falls apart and it turns into another Zoe Quinn scenario with Kiwifarms having to defend these whores and their lies, like Null completely destroys his reputation online and every one, including Metokur take their shots at him and the website and it just gets destroyed by the allegations, it would be a perfect way for the "TERF Police" era of kiwifarms to end.
