To be completely fair, I think more people on the Right are at least starting to become more skeptical of ID verification laws for the Internet. Mainly because after the Discord data breach in relations to the UK Online Safety Act, more people are starting to realize how poorly written these age verification laws are for the Internet (because over 400,000 users getting doxed on Discord is no small number and the fault lies in the UK government for not taking cybersecurity and privacy into consideration). It's just dawned on me why KF is pushing the pedoscare angle so much. It's the shilled precursor to censorship.
'The pedophiles' is the excuse the 'right wing' use to scare people into 'protecting the children' under the guise of spying and censorship. They also use terrorism.
The left use the same tactic, but under different names like 'progressive' and 'protecting the environment/vulnerable communities'.
Seems as the outside aka glowies, think that KF is a right-wing website (it isn't) it stands to reason that they would employ the psyops of pedophillia as a thin end of the wedge to push through censorship.
You still have Rightoids on the Internet pushing for these laws because 'muh-Think of the children' but now you're beginning to see a growing voice in the Right that do acknowledge that kids should not have access to porn but are also starting to become skeptical of these age verification laws as more data breaches keep happening because of these age verification laws.
I do fully agree that kids should not have access to online porn but there are far better ways to do this that don't involve compromising the privacy of Internet users in general.
I can't wait for when the day comes that the boomers are finally out of power so that when the younger generations take over, they fix the mistakes the boomers made.
