Hellovan Onion
Using brutal military force to enforce law and order is laughably fucking retarded, even authoritarian countries don't do this.I don't expect better from Welper but it is fascinating how retarded he is. not only is he cheering on the GWOT, but he actually thinks the same guy that was all about "monitoring the situation" last go around is going to start drone striking people, especially when even obama doing that to terrorists got a lot of fuckers speaking up against him literally a dozen years ago. its been about a month since the Kirk assassination and jack shit has been done, and like plenty of things trump has announced its all bluster. like the visa situation or the tarriffs. Trump's going full clickbait this go around, "they're a terror org" except unlike the Taliban or ISIS i doubt they'll be blown to bits or even arrested. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if at least one of the journos he talked to got merked

The purpose of the military is to go to war, not being law enforcement; even dictators understand this.
I'm sure by now everyone here should be aware of the story of the Killdozer, the welder from Colorado that got wronged by his local city government so he decided to have his revenge by custom modding a bulldozer into a tank so he can destroy the businesses, government offices, and houses that belonged to the people that wronged him.
Did you know that the state of Colorado briefly considered sending in an attack helicopter to stop the Killdozer? While sending in an attack helicopter certainly would've stopped the Killdozer in its tracks, firing hellfire missiles in a populated area would've also put the innocent locals in grave danger and also potentially cause more damage to local infrastructure than the Killdozer itself. So the state of Colorado wisely scrapped this stupid plan because they quickly realized how retarded this was.
Why is it retarded to have drone strikes on American cities to get rid of insurrectionists? You're also going to destroy valuable infrastructure in the process. Sure you would get rid of a group of terrorists but you also destroy valuable assets that benefits a nation like if you were to drone strike skyscrapers, drone strike post offices, drone strike city halls, drone strike museums, drone strike commercial spaces, or drone strike sports stadiums. Sending in the full military might of America into a city just to get rid of terrorists would get rid of the terrorists but you would also destroy valuable infrastructure that the destruction of said valuable infrastructure would most likely turn America into a third-world country economically. No ruler (whether they are democratic or autocratic) wants to rule over a kingdom of rubble.
Using the full force of the military to enforce law and order in a country would be like burning down your own house just to get rid of a spider. You got rid of the spider but now you're homeless.
Even dictatorships like Russia, Iran, and North Korea doesn't use the full force of their military might to enforce the laws in their jurisdictions and they have local law enforcement to do this for a reason.
To quote Palpatine from Star Wars, "I do not wish to rule over a galaxy of the dead."
