I don't know. I guess it’s NPC (normal) that most people hate it, but I appreciate the shaming of those who use it para socially. I’m grateful we’re slowly phasing out of accepting anything as a zeitgeist, even if it’s small. I think that, in a way, is huge. Post-COVID had everyone fucked up. God, during and after COVID was fucking annoying. You give too many things an inch, and they take a mile.
I think we need to look at the facts, though.
I understand that companies being cheap and causing enshittification by chasing money trees and nothing else has, and will continue to, fuck shit over. But I think we might be over complicating the impact on the physical world in a lot of cases. There is still a basic, fundamental truth:
- We are currently in a recession.
- Companies love cheap, outsourced labor.
- FUCKING THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES
They very well could be pinning the layoffs on AI to cover up the fact that they’re losing money during this post-pandemic time. It’s been kind of rough and up and down since. A lot of things have happened pre-peak COVID and post-COVID. A computer is not real. It’s not real in the sense that it’s like a person.
What’s more likely to happen is that more and more places will get stricter with their internet usage policies and pin the blame on a chatbot or an image denoiser. I think part of the reason they even released this to the public is for that very reason. They give you a problem, you don’t like that problem, then they give you a seemingly nicer solution. Machine learning can be very good for things like the health field, but you have to acknowledge that LLMs and machine learning can’t be used for every single thing you do. Same thing with the internet.
This has been in research labs for quite a while now. They’ve had this for a long time.
It’s a hotbed for mental illness. I think their goal is to turn people off from the internet and to use it for its original, federal-agent-adjacent purposes.
-An assisted LLM summary.
Here’s breakdown:
- Machine learning models are mathematical systems, not living beings. They process data, adjust weights, and produce outputs based on patterns but have no awareness, desires, or consciousness.
- They do not have thoughts or feelings; what appears as “intelligence” is pattern recognition and statistical correlation, not understanding.
- Even advanced systems like large language models (LLMs) only simulate conversation using probability, not comprehension.
- Life requires biological processes (metabolism, self-repair, growth) and subjective experience. Machine learning lacks both.
- Machine learning models can mimic certain behaviors of living beings (like speech or recognizing objects), but they do not experience, perceive, or possess a sense of self.
Machine learning can act useful, even convincingly human-like, but it is not alive, cannot feel, and has no will of its own.

I think that "AGI" shit where it controls your computer is a bug for feds. Look they kind of already are, and are thinking about, using these tools to help convict people. Not Robo cop 100% but it tracking and crawling around for your acivity on the interent. I'm conflcited on this. I think in a way it would be a good thing that it dies off in the zeitgesit and it kind of becomes what it was when it first came out. But, on the other hand, it sucks that the platforms that contributed to a lot of good on the internet getting bitch whipped by money trees.
I want them to release free versions of all the good AI to the public already.
That time has already past. It was originally cleverbot, ELIZA, Jabberwacky, Dr. Sbaitso, and whaever else I have forgotten to mention.
