This is eerily reminiscent of how Nick Fuentes does his grift.
If you know anything about Fuentes, one of the things he does for his grift is telling his audience that women (including white women) are the spawn of Satan and women are only there to hold you back and they destroy civilizations so don't get married and have kids with them (despite Fuentes making contradicting statements that you still need to save the white race).
Why does Fuentes does this? Because he knows damn well if his audience of incels start to figure out that to be happy in life then just get a job, practice good hygiene, go to the gym, buy some better looking clothes, stop being terminally online, and working out the flaws in their personalities will make their lives 100 times better then they will leave Fuentes as they will have no reason to continue following Fuentes and have no reason to continue being perpetually angry anymore. I notice a pattern where the people that are much better off in life tend to be far less prone to being engaged in political extremism of any kind. Why be a neo-Nazi or a Communist or an Anarchist when things are going well for you? (It's no coincidence that the people that adopt extremist beliefs usually come from an impoverished background.)
Fuentes depends on miserable people to fuel his source of revenue and if the day comes that his audience of incels realizes that it's not really the Jews or women that are at fault for why their lives suck when it's really their own fault and realize that they must self-improve to be in better standing then Fuentes wouldn't have much of an audience to begin with. It's why Fuentes tells his audience to don't pursue anything that can make them happy because that means Fuentes may potentially lose a loyal paypig.
It's the same with Jersh where he needs other miserable people that are terminally online to keep his grift going; "The world is attacking you and there are dark forces that wish you dead, I'm the most debanked person on the planet! There wouldn't really be a Kiwi Farms if most of the Kiwis stopped being terminally online, go outside, hang out with friends and family, take advantage of any opportunities to generate higher income, work out, find a rewarding hobby, travel the world, and just enjoy life.
