This is the main motivation for not giving a fuck about AI art. The only artists that are affected by it currently are basically talentless hacks with huge egos who used to survive by making shitty (often fetishistic) commissions but are now crying that they can't do that anymore. In all other respects AI art is wildly inferior to human-produced work in all mediums (visual/written/audio). The key factor, however, is that a human has to actually have talent or put in hard work to improve to be able to draw/write/compose/etc., and most of the whiners really don't want to do that.
They also have no idea how AI actually works so they think that teaching a machine how to draw is the same as storing infinite billion copyrighted images (omg guise) inside its demonic nazi-code or whatever. Like there's an argument to be made about training on copyrighted shit but you can just scrape any booru or even database of royalty/copyright free images (if you really want to be "ethical") and have an AI that's nearly just as good as the ones that are supposedly uber-pirated gigathiefs oppressionraping the poor twitter artists.
At the end of the day this is the exact same shit as the retards who used to seethe about Photoshop back in the day. You cannot put the cat back in the bag, deal with it. Get a real job like 99% of all artists in the past had to do.
And I say this as someone who is technically an "artist"

If the artists were smart they could use AI as a template to redraw in their own style and improve in the areas that are usually most fucked up like the hands feet eyes and mouth while removing any extra limb that connect to nothing.

I can guarantee they are at least using it to generate lyrics and make edits when necessary and sing it themselves to save money they would use to pay song writers. I don't even fault them for doing these things because the cost of paying real people to do it is absurd. Which is why they are mad at AI in the first place since they can't make as much money.
