If Texas goes through with this, most likely it's going to get challenged in the courts and possible taken to the Supreme Court.
I think the Kiwis forget that this isn't Europe where laws that could potentially infringe on free speech (or other constitutional rights) can be challenged in the courts and potentially get struck down.
At least you can't get arrested for dumb edgy memes in America but over in some European countries that is the sad reality where someone can get arrested over edgy memes and sadly the judicial branches for those countries are far weaker compered to America.
