Religious fundamentalists midwifed and birthed transgenderism. Lots of stories irl and in media from my childhood revolved around tomboys and boys who liked cooking being treated like shit for having the dreaded gender nonconfirming interests. If you go on r/detrans you will see lots of sad AF stories where redditors talk about their parents espousing the same rhetoric as Shiverpeaks. Abuse of every single kind occurs in the same "de-gaying" their kid because if a girl likes race cars or a boy wants to knit than sheeeeeeeeeeeiiiitttttt das ghey!!!!

Many of these kids have gone on to trans themselves because they internalized the fundamentalist messages of "only boys can like race cars" and "only girls can knit." For a certain kind of dumbass they can't bear having the "wrong kind" of kid. Rather than being thankful for having a kid they shit themselves and poison their child with this mindset.

"She's still part of the slippery slope" my ass. Lara was cool back in the day because she was cocky, shot guns, was very athletic and all that on top of having fat tits. She's the ideal woman for lots of men, someone who is brave and smart and confident and beautiful. Of course a fundie wants to transvestigate Lara Croft because a woman character being self made, beautiful, and successful fills the fundie with rage. They want their women like they want their men, bitter, fat, wrinkled, ugly, unaccomplished, and miserable.

Nah dude you are believing the trannies which is always a mistake. Alot of trannies have lib parents or parents who they think they can get away with this from. If all religious fundamentalist parents caused this Muslim families would have a tranny issue too but they're not because almost nobody is retarded enough to try this bs with a Muslim family. They're hoping they can essentially crybully their family into submission. Lib families can sometimes have multiple trans or "queer" kids because they know they can get away with it.
My brother grew up in a lib home, completely atheist and became tranny near age 30. He will now tell people he could never truly act out his (completely nonexistant) feminine traits out of fear/a conservative family. They lie, they're trannies, it's basically their full time job.

Not so, trannies come from many different kinds of families. There are actually a lot more rebellious Americanized Muslim "queers" than you might think where the Muslim kids are going atheist and running away from home. Which you know, good for them but they're holing up with trannies in order to get away from their Muslim fundie families. There are absolutely trannies coming from shitlib families but I have seen with my own eyes how religious fundies managed to fursecute their own kids into this kind of shit, that's why I put "irl" in my post. This is not just a problem with atheist shitlibs, that is a blatant misunderstanding or even a lie about this situation.

Never said they don't or can't come from many kinds of families but the whole story about trannies only becoming trannies because their family wouldn't let them play with dolls or play in the mud is (largely) a myth. If a kid wants to rebel they're going to try if a family believes in God or not. Its just if the family happens to be conservative, that's an extra layer of rebellion and an extra layer of victimhood.
