I’m not even sure if the website is still around, but considering Null’s complicated love-hate relationship with the trans community, it seems plausible that he wanted to use it to dig into people’s social media and personal records to uncover 'smoking guns' about them. The name 'Deadname' makes sense in that context. It might have been a discarded project that never really took off—this was back in 2016, after all.
