Why would A&N work as its own forum when anyone who wants unfiltered political news can just use /pol/? Or Stormfront if they want to chat with feds. Or literal Reddit spinoffs if they need to collect updoots for posting journalists bad or Orange Man Good?

A+N wasn't always a boring shit hole, but it's one place where fair, even, honest reporting happened. The COVID thread was breaking news before anywhere else. There were posters who were offering honest, trustworthy breakdowns of why things are they are and what is bollocks based on actual fact, not "trust the science" fact.

Having a forum where free, open and honest information is shared, especially in the face of censorship coming to the west, would be perfect. It's what, apparently, Null wants his forum to be, but fails at it and hates A+N while not understanding the potential it has and why it's so important to the site.

The lolcow side has been dead for years and the concept evaporated when tiktok came about.
