Then some faggot finds it's his sacred duty to overreach and bullshit about something. And you wake up expecting stable, normal day off but some of you pals reach you out and say "yo dude what's happening there" and say that some bunch of niggers are after me.
Happened to me recently. It's buffling and utterly dissapointing that in terms to validate themselves or hide behind their own insecurities they attack fellow kiwis who are more or less decent humans.
It proved that trying to be reasonable doesn't work, so guess my lads were right all along.

i think a big one for me is realizing how many replies are nonsense in most threads. like say what you would about the original political thread, but it was great because it was both slow and informative. you'd have maybe 5 pages a day but it was all clear DC insiders, now you'll have 20 pages in a day and its guys talking about israel or porn or the same tired arguments and most of the regulars are jews and mormons and they all have neocon opinions.
Same thing with most lolcow threads, the days of something like the Contra thread where every page was someone posting some deep dive and psycho analysis are gone, now you have threads like Ethan Ralphs or Boss man Jack's or Anisas where 90% of the posts are people saying "i don't like this person" and reacting without any real input.
so many threads it feels like you need to use the highlight but it doesn't include relevant posts but the ones with the most activity and that usually means the kiwifarms version of "i did nazi that coming" tier retardation.
Its especially heartbreaking when you look earlier in threads and so many accounts older than 2 years are just banned or the posters just stopped showing up.

I'm noticing a trend where a lot of KF users hate videos that are longer than, like, 10 minutes. As if they all have ADHD and can't pay attention to something for too long or else they get bored. It's even worse when it involves a topic that they supposedly care about.
Its one thing to hate these kinds of videos because the narrator's voice may be the kind that drones on for fucking ever and doesn't really get to the point, but its another thing entirely if you're just hating on it because the narrator decided to go autistically detailed about something they are passionate about.... which I thought would be a good thing for KF.
nah i understand it, the sterotypical "video essay" from a decade ago and the youtube algo favoring assholes doing long videos for the ad money means most videos over 10 minutes are more stretched out than the war arc of Naruto.
it reminds me of how a big reason twitter took off was in response to bloggers and them being so up their ass about their writings when someone can just summarize the same mood in under 150 characters.
Way too few video essay types make actually paying attention worth it, it reminds me of the Nostalgia critic, if you didn't give a fuck about the skits, you're basically forced to sit through half a video of nonsense. its the same reason people listen to shit on 2x speed now, so many people won't get to the fucking point.
a great example is the chris chan doc, the first dozen episodes he's summarizing shit and you're running through entire year long arcs in an hour but the last dozen episodes are the opposite and you're being read entire facebook chats of pure nothingness
I admit to mostly watching shit on 2x speed, even comedy because a lot of it is pure garbage. if i'm listening to 2hrs of kino casino lots of it is fucking filler. Meanwhile if its interesting content, i'll watch hours of something.
