There was this dude named im honest Hank who would spam Google plus with child porn and got unbanned for it in less than a month to do it again. He also had a billion alt accounts all connected to Gmail made with VPN and stuff so never got caught. He moved onto Facebook discord mewe and reddit when Google plus shut down. The real reason it shut down is they couldn't stop CP spammers so they gave up trying to compete with Facebook and Twitter because if they got too popular everyone would know the great and powerful Google couldn't handle some pedophiles with VPNs on their own platform and tools.
 
Reason: You can still find mentions of him if you Google that username.

I'm just saying it's a lot more common than most people would expect to stumble onto CP on the clearnet unexpectedly. It was common in the past and is still common to this day. Trying to download pirated movies off of lime wire was always a gamble because you could get CP faces of death or Mr hands with the movie name you wanted and it would take all day to download a shock video. But the Google plus experience was within the decade.
 
Reason: I think this was the point odd opposom was making too but idk just sharing some personal experience.
