Jesus' name in Hebrew/Aramaic was Yehshua, which in English is Joshua.

I would've probably gone by "Jesus", too. "Josh Christ" doesn't really have the same ring to it.

"Yesu" sounds pretty cool, though. Like a gang name. The gang of peace and love.
