Iirc eating enough poppy seeds on a bagel will test you positive for opioids. I heard about this without doing any research so take with a grain of salt. (Also good on a bagel.) You might have to eat a lot or something. idk and idc tbh.

I’ve grown opium poppies a bunch of times, currently growing some now. They’re pretty easy once you get em past the seedling stage when they’re super fragile.
