Peace in Islam mean one world religion under islam. That is the islamic definition of peace and why when they claim to be a religion of peace it is a play on words. There are very well respected Muslim that say this themselves who actually have a religious authority and islam is more than a religion it is a political system and way of life as well which they also openly say. Taqiyya means hiding your religion. It is permitted if there is a legitimate threat of persecution or potential endangerment of innocent lives. Muslims are not the first. Christians have done the same thing to protect the welfare of their communities. I don't understand why this is such a big deal. It's not.
