Why would anyone think like this? I don't get it. If you have exes that means:
You broke up with him because the relationship would fail. Hence, why value him still?
He broke up with you. Why would you feel entitled to have a better boyfriend if it was your fault? And if it wasn't anything you did but the relationship failed anyway, why would you get into a new relationship where you're still not truly over the guy?
I think the point that the comic artist is trying to make is that woman = hypergamous or something. I don't really have experience with this myself but don't want to elaborate.
