Housing, healthcare, childcare, education, job stability, good healthy food is way more fragile and expensive than it was 20-30 years ago dude. It's getting pretty bad and it isn't really looking like things are improving.

The reason you see poor people have kids is because they are selfish, and are okay with buying their kids McDonald's and kool aid with their EBT card for their meals and having them live in a dirty shack. Most people don't want their kids living like that.
