You know after re-reading the posts from the time @IKOL got kiwis really mad for talking to a girl that was younger than him, I think a lot of "pedo catcher" content feels more like a grift + public hysteria than justice.

Yes, real pedophiles exist and need to be imprisoned. But a lot of these stings catch desperate, socially isolated ugly freaks who got baited by fake attention, kinda like how stupid people get roped into fed-led terror plots.

Like think about if you were a ugly autistic guy and you are desperate for a relationship, you try to get tinder matches and you are left with only one really attractive 15 year old girl who keeps giving you lots of positive attention.

Not saying they're innocent or it justifies their actions, but it does make me question how much of this is actual predator-catching vs. exploiting lonely freaks for content. Just gives me a bad vibe when I watch stuff like that.

There's still a need for physical stores (trying on clothing, for example) and malls provide a significant network effect (you go in for one item, and end up browsing other places). Much cheaper to rent a unit in a mall than construct and maintain a whole building. While Amazon did eat a lot of their business, enough of the fundamentals remain for them to still make sense *if* it wasn't for the "youths" problem.

In a high trust society, malls would do everything possible to encourage you to stay in them all day long. But in a low trust society, any kind of loitering or cheap amenity is just going to attract criminals and nigs. Shrinkage nullifies the already thin margins that these businesses have, and any kind of violence means that families and young women (primary spenders) stay away.

You have to brutalize criminality to allow civil society to flourish. The margin between a thriving "third place" and the doom loop is too small to do otherwise.

The way people try to defend stepdads is so funny. Let's be clear, the only acceptable single mom is a widow. That's a situation genuinely outside of her control. That's the only time where being a little noble is somewhat respected.

Women really need to be held accountable for what they choose with their bodies more. It's there job in society to decide what the future of the human race will be like, and should only have sex with men who they think will be good fathers.
