Hellooooo once again. How’s your day? Mine is meh as usual.

Anyway, I was sitting here once again staring at the wall, until I remembered this one game I loved as a kid, Elsword

Never met anyone in real life who liked the game, or anyone in the online space who liked the game, I’ve just never met anyone who liked the game. To be fair, I don’t even remember anything from the game. All I remember is I REALLY fucking liked this character, Aisha I think her name was?

I was very bad at the game, I could never get past the first few missions. I mostly just liked the art of the game, and looking back, it’s still very good art. Maybe I’ll pick it back up and see how far I can get.

Anyway, what’s YOUR favorite obscure game that you’ve never met anyone who knew it? Elsword was advertised a lot online in the 2000s, maybe you’ve heard of that, but I wanna hear stuff I’ve never heard of.

Geist for the GameCube
The game features a unique gameplay mechanic where players control a spectral operative named John Raimi, who can possess objects, animals, and people to solve puzzles and fight enemies.

probably the best computer game i've ever played. lot's to do and explore, really interesting story that went all over the place.
Looks very nice, I’ll check it out.

Also looks very cool, I would check it out but GameCube games tend to be scarce, I’ll see if I can find it on eBay or something though

You could just emulate it

In some cases it's just not feasibly possible to get them. That's why we have emulation. So everyone can still play them.

Reason: Physical media expires and the data on it will eventually become unusable. Soon there will be none left. Emulation is the only way to preserve it
