I do agree that a legal adult with a legal adult is a legal adult with a legal adult, but I feel like there’s some lines. Take Boogie and Dezi for example. Sure, they’re both adults, but Dezi never had a father, Boogie has admitted to “parenting” her, and the glimpse we get at their relationship is just her doing chores he couldn’t be fucked to do.
