The issue is what he said was crazy vague, “Walking around naked where there might be children” is so vague and leaves so many scenarios, you just added the “Where there’s DEFINITELY children” and “In public” thing. We can assume that he meant shit like nudists walking into Walmart naked, but it’d be just that, assuming. We’re just taking his word and rolling with it.

If you had any amount of reading comprehension you would understand it is implied he is mostly talking about in public places and also where children are in general. So exposing yourself to a child in your home is just as bad as in front of a school. If you don't like assuming, then instead of assuming the worst conclusions maybe you should use common sense assumption instead of inventing a your own narrative to get upset about since you made a stupid assumption yourself. But I guess common sense isn't so common here and that is why they make fun of this site. Shit like this makes us look bad and retarded. Walking and riding around naked is very specific and not vague at all, even if there are many different possible examples. If you're in a changing rooms you're not walking around naked. So it's specific enough to rule out your experience you overshared as a non example. The correct assumption is this is what he was talking about.

If anyone cared about this site enough to attack it like what KF was just hit with, it'd be down for weeks instead of Null needing to unplug the site here and there to fix things.

The whole point of OF is to have a space to voice your disagreements with KF, because KF allows no dissent. We shouldn’t be concerned with “looking good” to these people because the site inherently looks bad to them. This is the site where we allow what KF doesn’t, there’s no way to “look good” outside of becoming them, and then what’s the point?

I agree we should have dialogue where we disagree, but 90% of the time when it happens, it’s a whole ordeal. I think we’re definitely better than KF when it comes to echo chambers, but worse when it comes to getting along and respecting each other. It’s like we’re all constantly on edge over… something.

I’d be careful with that, I’m not sure it’s too good of an idea for us to just turn into the refuge for banned Kiwifarms members, that’s how we got stuck with people like Bittersweet and that one guy who fucked his dog. Obviously we should be welcoming, but I don’t think our focus should be cozying up to people who were probably banned for a good reason.

Furthermore, the fact that they were banned tends to make them pretty bitter and unreasonable.

For a good few weeks the featured on KF has been nothing but nothing burgers, I’m somewhat split on today’s feautres

On one hand I don’t agree with shock collars, on the other, when did KF start caring about dogs? They have a whole thread where people confess they enjoy watching videos of pitbulls being brutally murdered, when an article came out of someone fucking their dog to death, a user legit said “I don’t care if it’s a pitbull, zoophilia is wrong” as if the breed matters.

I just don’t think you can be pro animal abuse for one breed and anti for another.
