How can the site be down for DDOS when the site has a custom-built DDOS protection system that worked so well it fought off the Keffals DDOS army?
That would mean someone more technically capable is DDOSing KF. I don’t see that happening.
Of course the Josh Cult isn’t going to bother to ask why this is happening despite the $100k+ server upgrades.
The other forums you mentioned don’t allow discourse. They’re all hiveminds. A&N is one of the few forums where you can say something against the Zeitgeist and you won’t get deleted or shadowbanned or whatever. In fact, you might get highlighted.
My whole schtick on USPG was pretending to be a liberal NPC and baiting people. I never once got threadbanned or a post deleted.
If Kiwi Farms dies, A&N will just plant itself on another forum that’s lightly moderated. A lot of people on A&N are pol or r/The_Donald refugees. A&N posters are familiar with migration and won’t hold any loyalty to the website if their ability to hold an open discussion diminishes.

Well, pol was the place for unfiltered political news until the 2020s or so when the jannies started modding threads. I never spent much time there, but it’s a former shell of itself. You can’t have any discussion there.
