I kind of get his point, interacting with kids without their parents kind of works against the whole "stranger danger" thing even if it's online. It's not even about any implication of impropriety, it's about reinforcing the concept that kids should be peers with other kids, not adults.Me calling out the pedo hysteria is what got me banned. Someone earlier itt referred to it as virtue jerking. It's funny they try to act like free speech activists but lose their shit at edgy jokes or ancient memes like Mai-chan's daily life. It's just a bunch of fucking neurotic zoomers and normies that discovered the site from twitter now.
This guy fucking bragged about muting himself in gaming voice chat in case a kid might be there. Seems like he's implying having a conversation with a kid for any reason is inherently sexual. You can't just talk to them about normal, appropriate things apparently.

Modeling good behavior for children is incredibly important, even if they're not someone you know, and even if that modeling involves not interacting with them. Kids don't really understand boundaries, and so between a child and adult, the responsibility of maintaining the child's boundaries and what is appropriate does fall to the adult.
That's my take anyhow, idk how he reasons about it.
