i think a big reason for that is that the censorship online has not been as big of a deal as it was back in 2021. Like remember how everyone was seemingly banned off of social media in 2020? between covid and trannies and trump's "monitoring the situation" faggotry, everyone was left with no place to go

but between elon buying twitter, and Tiktok allowing more unique content; starting in 2022 it really did feel like the winds were changing. Shane Gillis got on JRE and became this huge star and did an episode of his podcast with Sam Hyde and is the sole reason Sam got viral and sort of let back into entertainment,
In general censorship was taking a step back and on the flip side kiwifarms has just gotten worse and worse. 2022 most of the Comicsgate group has fucked off and a lot of the more annoying faggots such as Welper joined in 2022-2024.
the man hate thread in 2023 and Josh basically using it to pull off a "night of the long knives" on a big chunk of the userbase did to kiwifarms what reddit nuking O&A and the donald and other "offensive" subreddits did for that site.
In the last two years, kiwifarms has been addicted to more meta lolcows and snark posting about its users, Lidl and her fanbase basically are kiwifarm's version of SRS from reddit, except with the added bonus that the admin will ban users who piss them off.
Lidl, just this year has started about a dozen fights in a private area of the forum and its been revealed there are DM chains where they plan how to get certain power users banned.
Between that and Null deciding that anyone into vtubers or anime is a pedo, (except for the actual pedos that make up his mod team and power users) it really does feel like the worst of reddit.
Netflix announced that a majority of the view time spent on their site is spent watching anime, meaning that technically Netflix is an anime streaming site that also has live action, the same way i asssume Crunchyroll had some live action stuff people could also watch, making kiwifarms a minority in terms of their hatred of anime
deciding to die on that fucking hill combined with embracing the Sharty and clearly abandoning the "don't touch the poo" guidelines has just turned it into green reddit.
This is also combined with way more hostility towards Null. 2 years ago it was rather rare for people to go after him, but now it seems every month another poweruser talks about how much of a fucking idiot he is.
Outside of the idiots that joined in the last year, no one seems to like the fucker and his presence is seen as an annoyance. even the mods treat him like a special needs case. Altistic right was practically apologizing to the users in the kino casino thread for his behavior. At least when he acted up in the Rekeieta or Dick threads there was a sense that everyone was on the same page behind the scenes, but now the decorum is all gone.
I wouldn't be surprised if we see full on trolling ops normalized.

Fap Queen belongs to a genre of ‘game’ which, prior to playing, I was admittedly unfamiliar with - however, I feel it is still possible to review it for what it is, as an experience, without having been spoiled by what a game in this same genre could potentially do with larger production values.
FQ explains its concept with a brief tutorial - the player is expected to do little else in this game than occasionally choose a response to on-screen prompts and to - describing this euphemistically in a Steam-friendly way - do the thing they downloaded this game for, to a metronome beat.
This metronome system comprises the bulk of the ‘gameplay’, only to be broken up by little vignette scenes with the three characters - the titular queen, an aloof Egyptian empress, and a patronising succubus - which are interspersed throughout the length of a roughly twenty-minute game per ‘session’ in order to control the pacing of the... plot progression?
Nevertheless, on a technical level the game runs well, has no obvious major bugs, the art of the three on-screen women is all consistently good - complex enough to look appealing (if you’re into 2D chicks, that is) while retaining a simple enough design to not come off as excessive. There’s a roster of Steam Achievements, not that it matters in this sort of thing, and it’s entirely free, which is always a big plus.
Conditionally recommended.

Another reason i forgot to add to my comment about kiwifarms becoming green reddit is that because of how greatly free speech has opened up on X and tiktok and Instagram now, combined with the bannings, Kiwifarms isn't this special club where all the hip people are now. There are so many better places where you can discuss all this shit without getting banned because you disagreed with a woman or a fagoot
