You can call me "weird" for being nice to someone who's earned it (from me and in my opinion) but I call it being nice and friendly. I'm not sucking up to a man who runs a website I'm being chill to someone who's done no wrong to me. Him being homeless and bipolar is not something I look down on him for.
Being controlling and attempting to sew paranoia is exactly what you were trying to do though and I just didn't let you, hence your inability to let this go and trying (weakly) to insult me now. It's fine to be cranky with him or not like him but it's not your business what my business is with him.
