Why does nobody talk about the Las Vegas shooting anymore, even though it was the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history?

Bear Hammer

More bear than man, more hammer than tool.
Hellovan Onion
60 people died, over 400 got injured directly, and yet it barely comes up in national conversations anymore. No one makes memes, no public discourse, no yearly remembrance, nothing. Just gone.

Compare that to Parkland, Sandy Hook, or Columbine, those stayed in the news cycle for years. Survivors became activists, lawsuits were filed, politicians milked it, and the media dissected every frame. But with Vegas? It’s like everyone just memory-holed it.

I don't know how to put it into words, but it creeps me out a little.

It’s like everyone just memory-holed it.
It didn't happen (in any way) like the MSM reported it. Witnesses said that they could hear the sound of bullets, being fired, through the PA. The woman who told people they were going to be shot up, completely forgotten.

If it didn't happen the way the press reported it (White Boomer Goes Bananas), what could be the reasons for that...?

Its still talked about. There was a news article about 3 weeks ago saying the memorial will be done by 2027.
Sure, but that’s just a local update on a memorial, not public discourse. Nobody's really talking about why it happened, who paddock really was, or why the FBI wrapped the investigation with "no clear motive" on the deadliest mass shooting in the country and dipped.

A mass shooting that big basically vanished from the national conversation. That's odd.

The same reason people don't talk about the fact that more niggers shoot each other in one month in the south side of my city then every school shooting in history combined.

The media (brought to you by operation mockingbird™️) and the Democratic party can't leverage any kind of mass shooting towards their campaign to make all guns illegal unless the victims are children.

Quite frankly nobody gives a fiddler's fuck that 60 redneck adults got shot up at a country music concert. They only care when sweet little 8 year old Sally takes a 5.56 right between the pigtails just before her birthday.

It's called missing white woman syndrome, my man. And it's all the media's fault. You find it creepy that nobody's talking about an 8 year old mass shooting? I find it creepy that people are still talking about a 26 year old school shooting. Shootings like this to be honest just aren't that important, but when they happen to kids the media likes to sensationalize it and burn it into your goddamn frontal lobe forever.

And until we start charging the parents with murder for letting their underage children have access to guns, stop sensationalizing school shooters and immortalizing these jizz bags by making them infamous and keeping them on a 24/7 news cycle, and stop pumping confused hormone flooded teenagers full of mind-altering SSRIs and other antidepressants and chemicals not recommended for kids, this shit is going to keep happening.

There have been about 200 deaths from school shootings in the history of our country. In the scheme of things that's not pretty bad for a country the size of Europe that has 400 million firearms (plus however many illegal ones are out there off the books)

Reason: Sorry about the rant but your question seem legitimate and I wanted to be comprehensive
