It is the right time to start a thread on Ukraine because Ukraine is one of those countries that is getting dragged into a lot of the drama that is discussed here. The Ukraine President's response that Trump could convince Putin to give him a fair deal but won't give details. Ukrainian President Zelensky is taking this with a big grain of salt.

President Trump says he could end the Ukraine war with Russia within 24 hours. The Ukrainian President was adamant that he would not hand over Ukrainian territory to appease Putin.

Zelensky cast suspicion on Trump’s claims that he could strike a “fair deal” between the two countries, saying he would not agree to a deal that involves Ukraine giving up land to appease Russia. “So [if] the idea is how to take the part of our territory and to give Putin, that is not the peace formula,” he added.
