There are a lot of things to unpack. You have to consider that much of Null' userbase are socially and/or mentally awkward people one way or another. So it's only natural their masks start slip with time. Or new ones be put so no one would have questions.

A lot of people in kiwi farms (and probably Josh) are literally just chronically online autistic people making fun of other chronically online autistic people that are just lower functioning than them, and sometimes they say things like that and don't know how to frame it as irony.

Honestly, the Alex Hogendorp thread is a prime example of this. It's filled with people who are clearly chronically online (including me I admit) themselves trying to prop up their fragile egos by comparing themselves to a literal schizo pedo. You've got amateur artists posting their DeviantArt-tier shit next to Alex’s pedo scribbles like it proves something, like congratulations, your art is better than a mentally ill pedophile's, hope that makes you feel good about yourself. Most of the users who were in that thread are chronically online and also on kiwi farms 24/7, and I think a lot of them were using him as a yardstick for "I may be on kiwi farms 24/7 all day everyday, but at least I’m not that bad".
