In a country where 30,000 Naira (30$) is the stipulated monthly income for an average civil servant, a certain wife has ordered her husband to quit his 1 Million Naira job because of his ex. An X (Twitter) user has taken to his page to share a recent dilemma that his close friend is currently experiencing. His friend is presently torn between saving his marriage and saving his means of livelihood. His friend's wife has ordered his friend to quit his high-paying N1 million per month job to prevent him from working with his ex-girlfriend. This request has sparked both curiosity and debate among many online users as many individuals are wondering what would make a right-thinking woman desire that her family, who is one of the few percentage of high-income earners in the country, to be cut off from a good livelihood over an ex situation.

According to the X user, his friend wasn't caught cheating or even cheating in the first place. His wifey just isn't comfortable with the fact that his (her husband) ex works in the same organization with him. Knowing how difficult it is to find a job that pays 1 Million Naira (about 1000$) monthly in Nigeria. The X user has solicited advice that can help his friend save his marriage and his job. He expressed:

“My friend is having a big problem in his marriage. He is newly wed for just 8 months. He works in the same bank with his ex-girlfriend. He is comfortable and well to do. He works in a bank in Nigeria and earns more than 1M monthly plus other benefits. He has opened shops for the wife in different locations, and these are doing well, too. But here is where the problem lies: his wife wants him to resign from his job, and the reason is that she is not comfortable with the husband working in the same bank as his ex. She is scared they might be getting back together, the wife's family are involved, and they also support this. The husband's family told him to find a way to sort it. They don't want to be involved.

Should he resign?”.

Hellovan Onion
At a million per month my partner could be working with all their exes. That's a lot of money monthly.
Especially considering the alternative:
30$ a month is an average wage? Are you shitting me??
Well now we know where the rest of their money is going.
